Excerpt from The Journey Book One : The Council

  “Um, what are you doing?” Grant’s voice snaps Karin back to her senses.    

 Opening her eyes she sees that Grant has backed away from her with a suspicious look on his face.
 
 “OH, FUTZ!” she stands up like a shot. Suddenly filled with a terrible combination of embarrassment, shame and confusion. “Nothing! I wasn’t doing anything!”
 
 “Well, it looked like you were trying to kiss me.”
 
 “Kiss you! Kiss you!” Karin’s voice sounds frenzied, “That is… that’s just crazy! Why… why would I want to k-k-kiss you? She stutters.
 
 “Well my guess is that you find me attractive.” He replies a little smugly.
