 Hi everyone! Book One is currently in the editing phase with http://www.pulsepub.net/ I will announce publishing dates as soon as the details become available. In the meantime Book Two is coming along nicely, first five chapters are on paper and I'm still chugging along!

 Excerpt from The Journey Book One : The Council

  “Um, what are you doing?” Grant’s voice snaps Karin back to her senses.    

 Opening her eyes she sees that Grant has backed away from her with a suspicious look on his face.
 
 “OH, FUTZ!” she stands up like a shot. Suddenly filled with a terrible combination of embarrassment, shame and confusion. “Nothing! I wasn’t doing anything!”
 
 “Well, it looked like you were trying to kiss me.”
 
 “Kiss you! Kiss you!” Karin’s voice sounds frenzied, “That is… that’s just crazy! Why… why would I want to k-k-kiss you? She stutters.
 
 “Well my guess is that you find me attractive.” He replies a little smugly.

 It's funny when you start writing with a direction in mind, then the story takes you down a totally different and even better path. It's like a sculptor looking at a solid block of marble, knowing there is already a shape inside it waiting to be revealed to the world.

Book One : The Council,

  A video image appears, showing a young
woman with shining golden blonde hair
pulled back tightly into a ponytail,
evidently alone in the room.
Even in the grainy picture, the girl is very 

beautiful with strikingly bright green eyes
and high, arched eyebrows. Her nose is
slightly crooked, the result of it being
broken by the butt-end of a Council
 soldier’s rifle several cycles ago.
